Broadway-Fillmore Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. and the South Fillmore Block Club are sponsoring a free Lead-Safe Work Practices training on Saturday, June 9 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will provide attendees a certification in LSWP good for five years.  Contractors and their workers working with federal and state grant programs are required to have this certification.  New York state is paying for the $1,000 cost of the training.
