Event Details

The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council (GBNRTC), the regional metropolitan planning organization for Erie and Niagara Counties, is conducting a 45-day public review and comment period on a proposed amendment to the GBNRTC’s Public Participation Plan.

The amendment under consideration will establish guidelines on the use of social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIN, etc.) for community engagement and regional transportation planning purposes.  To view draft document, visit http://www.gbnrtc.org/index.php/get-involved/.

Comments, questions and concerns on the proposed amendment will be accepted in writing until June 8.  The GBNRTC is intending to discuss all public feedback on the amendment at its Policy Committee meeting currently scheduled in June (date to be announced) and then take an appropriate action.  The meeting is open to the public and all are invited to attend.
