Toms_PointeTom's Point is part of the Chautauqua Lake State Fish and Wildlife Management Area, along with the Cheney Farm and Stow Farm. Tom's Point, named for early settler Thomas Bemus, who ran the Bemus Point - Stow ferry 200 years ago, has a trail that leads out along the peninsula. The point is a glacial recessional moraine formed as Chautauqua Lake came into existence 15,000 years ago.
