Much like Main Street Businesses, they are receptive and responsive to the needs of stakeholders, not just the greatest return to shareholder. They take their commitments to their community seriously -- charitable giving, paid volunteerism for employees, and active engagement programs are hallmarks of these businesses.

To celebrate the shift in corporate law from profit first to people first, Buffalo First will be partnering with the United Way of Western NY, local businesses, and residents to paint a community center.
