The WNYSEA 2014 Solar Tour of Homes and Green Buildings is a few weeks away. Don’t miss this free, self-guided tour that includes local homes and businesses that have implemented energy efficient measures and clean renewable energy technology such as Solar, Wind, and Geothermal systems.

Our tour list is being finalized and part of the WNYSEA organizing team was recently in California checking in on best practices to enhance our local Solar Tour! Please attend the Solar Tour Kick Off Launch Event on Saturday, October 4th at 10am at the Innovation Center at 640 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, NY, 14203. The Solar Tour list of participating companies and organizations includes Montante Solar, Solar Liberty, Buffalo Geothermal Heating,the UB Solar Decathlon Team, Natale Builders, Tapestry Charter School, Junior Solar Sprint, Blue Sky Design Supply, The UB Honors College, Tift Nature Preserve, Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve, the UB Solar Strand, and Buffalo CarShare!
